Our Survey Process

  • Visual Inspection – We undertake an extensive assessment of the external condition of the property evaluating factors such as brickwork, pointing & ground levels. Internally we ascertain the cause of any visible signs of damp, mould or condensation. 
  • Technical Inspection & Testing – Following our detailed visual inspection, the surveyor will obtain levels of moisture content, relative humidity. We will also use thermal imaging in order to identify any cold air ingress/heat loss, in turn highlighting ingress points for dampness. 
  • Written Report With Repair Costings – Once our internal and external assessments have been completed, the surveyor will produce a comprehensive and detailed report identifying any damp, mould and condensation. All causes, technical data as well as recommendations will be detailed with estimated costings for any required works.
